About Amy

Hello There,

For starters, my name is Amy. I am 21 years old. I recently graduated from college in May, 2013 with a Bachelors degree.

I am very fortunate and was employed a month after my graduation. I relocated for my new job. I am living alone for the first time. My apartment is still bare and not furnished. I spend most days fantasizing about new furniture. So what else is new with me? I had my eyes checked last week and my glasses came in today. I never had vision problems before and I am still shy about glasses and only wear them in private. I think they are cool but different, and I'm not ready for people to look at me differently.

I started this blog to keep me occupied while I navigate through my post-college blues.  I am  proud of myself for having so much going at 21 but I miss the comfort of the classroom dearly. At times, I feel cheated for being sent into the real world prematurely but I am resilient and a eternal optimist. As for my expertise, I have been doing my own nails since middle school. I usually love bright colors and eye catching designs but I am a young professional now so I'll wear what I can get away with :D
