Day of the Dead Nails!!

Hello There! Thanks for returning to view my blog!! Are you ready for Halloween? To get in the spirit, I did orange French Tips with a Day of the Dead detailing. Please scroll down to view a picture tutorial. Please comment and follow!! Always, Amy <3

Left:'White on White' by China Glaze
Middle: "In My Back Pocket" by OPI
Right: 'Black" by Stripe Rite

Do a orange French Tip on all nails except your ring finger

Paint your ring finger a full coat of white

Horizontally line the orange French Tip with black

Add short vertically lines to create a barbed wire effect:)

Add two sideway black ovals for eyes

Create two crooked lines for the nose and a barbed wire for the mouth

Add two orange rhinestones for the eyeballs to complete the look!

Boo!

Glitter Nude Nails with Jewels

Left: "Strobe Light" by Sally Hansen
Right:" Panda-Monium Pink' by OPI

Start with a baby pink or nude base coat

Add glitter to the top half of your nail

Add rhinestones on top of the glitter

Looks more pink in darker lighting

Looks more nude in direct lighting. This is more true to color :D

Hello Kitty French Tip!

Hi Guys! I tried to do a Hello Kitty French Tip. I'm a big Hello Kitty fan so I was excited when a friend requested this design. I tried my best but my Hello Kitty is not an exact replica of the real thing. Scroll down to view the picture tutorial :D

Left: 'Pink Lingerie' by Revlon
Right: "French White Tip" by Sally Hansen

French Tip your nails a soft pink. Tip your ring finger with white.

I extended the length of the French Tip longer than my natural tip to have more space to work with.
If you don't have long nails, fake it!

Use a dotting tool to add dots to the pink tips

You can use a toothpick or match as a dotting tool substitute 

Loving the white on pink :)

Add a yellow dot on the white tip for Hello Kitty's nose

Use a dotting tool to add two black dots for the eyes

Add the whiskers with a thin brush

My bow is deformed. I can't even explain what I did here haha. Try to make a circle and two triangles for the bow.

'Itty, Bitty, & Gritty' by China Glaze Texture

Hello friend! Texture polishes have been a current fad recently so I picked up "Itty, Bitty, Gritty' by China Glaze. I used my cousin as a  hand model for this post. Unfortunately, my cousin and I aren't a fan of this trend. Although this shade is a lovely coral/orange/pink, the texture really threw us off. It reminded me of ceiling popcorn and it reminded my model of sandpaper and reptiles. This polish would be great if you're look for something eccentric and different. Scroll down to judge for yourself :D
