Rainbow French Tip

June is Gay and Lesbian Pride Month! In recognition, I French-Tipped my nails in a rainbow colors with complimentary rhinestones. Like most things that are colorful, this puts me in a cheery mood. Amy:)

Purple Stripes

Good Morning! After doing using many pink and blue polishes, I was craving a different shade to experiment with. Purple polish has been a breath of fresh air!! This is my 1st attempt trying to paint straight edges on my nails. This was partly inspired by Pinterest after learning that you could create a straight edge with Scotch tape. With any first attempt, this was somewhat awkward and messy so please forgive any imperfections. I'm pleased with the outcome despite a few smears but I will continue to practice, :)

Lovely purple.

Turquoise Polka Dot Nails!

Herrro there! This was my first attempt at polka dot nails. I started off using a dotting tool but found that the tip of a bobby pin worked better. I also added a gemstone in the middle of the solid painted nails. I really enjoy turquoise for the hotter summer months :D

Rainbow Pastel Colors!

This combination has really cheered me up this weekend! I'm loving the soft yet vibrant shades! I didn't have a certain pattern that I followed and chose to do each hand differently! Enjoy!

Bubble Gum Pink by Hard Candy

Hey There! This is Bubble Gum Pink by Hard Candy. I thought this was a great color for the start of spring. This is a baby pink with chunks of purple and white glitter. I didn't like this color much at first but after wearing it for a couple of days, it grew on me. Pretty neat, huh?

Tropical Flowers

Yes, I'm making 2 posts today :) I wished the photos came out better but I thought this was still worthy of a post. I used a yellow-jelly finish as the base polish and used a hot pink for the stamped-on  flower. It took a astounding 10 coats to achieve opacity with this yellow like most jelly finishes. However, I like the result -it reminds me of lemon drops!- but the formula is too difficult to work with. Moving forward, I hope you like what you see.

Tropical flowers :)

Jelly Finish! Remind me of lemon drops!

It's a little difficult to see the detailing on the flowers

Here's a close up!

Are you ready for Spring?!

Palm Trees

Happy March!

..It's still snowing in Colorado but Spring is just around the corner! I felt particularly tropical this weekend :) I used a neon-highlighter orange as a base coat and black for the palm trees. I'm starting to get a hang of this nail stamping thing! Pretty neat stuff! I can't wait to add more to my collection.
