60's psychedelic nails/Black & White Water Marbling

Hi Guys, 

This was my first attempt at water marbling. This design was requested by a friend :)

I have to say that water marbling was one of the most difficult things that I've come across. This was my 10th attempt and the results didn't meet my expectations. From my experience, I have to say that water marbling is messy, time consuming and wasteful :/ so keep that in mind if you're a first timer like me. Although I do like the designs, I need more practice. I'll try different colors next time.

1. Chose your colors
2. Wrap the skin around your nail with tape for easier clean-up
3. Alternate putting each color into a cup of room temperature water
4. Swirl the colors using a toothpick
5. Dip your nail in the polish-be sure to cover your whole nail

Add drops of nail polish into room temperature water and swirl with a toothpick

Wrap tape around you fingers for easy clean up

Dip your nail into the cup 

After I removed the tape

You get unique designs every time :]
