Green and Gold St. Patty's Day Nails

Spring is coming!! I've created this Green and Gold in time for St. Patty's Day. The gold diagonals were created by scotch tape and the green polka dots were created by the end of a makeup brush. I am excited to have finally mastered creating straight edges with scotch tape! I've tried numerous times before only to create jagged, uneven and smeared edges. The biggest tip to create straight edges with tape is to wait 60 seconds before peeling off the tape. You want the polish to be wet and somewhat tacky. If you peel it too soon, you're polish will most likely smear. If you peel it too late, it'll stick like stepping on bubble gum on a hot summer day. I'm excited to create more designs using scotch tape!!
